Based in Lake County, Ohio, we proudly serve customers throughout the counties of Ashtabula, Cuyahoga and Geauga , as well as parts northern Summit and western Lorain counties.
Northeast Ohio Stairlifts, LLC is a spin-off of Ohio Walk-In Showers which was founded in 2005. Our initial focus was on helping homeowners improve bathroom accessibility and safety via tub-to-shower conversions and grab/safety bars. On some job sites, we recognized that the client also faced challenges navigating their stairs – especially when accessing an upstairs bathroom. So in the beginning of 2017, we expanded our services to include straight-run stairlifts.
After careful research1, we chose the AmeriGlide Rave 2 – a private-label version of the trusted Harmar pinnacle 600 stairlift – as our straight-run stair lift. We especially liked the patented quite ride and no maintenance drive system. In 2020, AmeriGlide launched the most affordable curved stairlift on the market, the Infinity 2, for stairways with curves and landings.
As demand for our stairlift services grew, we established a separate identity for this side of the business. So, eight years after our initial endeavor, Northeast Ohio Stairlifts, LLC was officially born. With this separate moniker, our identity as a stairlift provider has become more visible in the greater Cleveland marketplace.
Northeast Ohio Stairlifts is not place where employees “clock-in” and pick up a paycheck; it’s our family lifeline. The person who takes your call (usually Jim, the owner), will be the same person who will take your stair measurements, perform (or oversee) your installation, and return any post installation questions. We’re with you all the way!
